English in Action Week

The students of 3a, 3b and 3c took part in an English in Action Week – programme at our school from February 22nd to 26th. A very qualified team of English teachers from Canterbury / UK taught the pupils six intensive English lessons a day. They did a lot of fun learning activities, talking, sketches and worked out little projects. At the end of the course they presented the results of the programme to some of their teachers and their classmates of the other groups and then they got a certificate.

Here a summary of the students’ feedback:

We really enjoyed the week with our very nice Native Speakers, Sonia, Hannah, Clie, James and Richard.

This week was a great experience for all of us and we would love to do it again.

At the beginning of the week I was a bit shy but our Native Speaker-English teachers made me talk.

The course helped me to improve my English and to extend my vocabulary.

In these five days we learned a lot. At the end of the week I didn’t even notice that I spoke English with my parents at home. I even dreamt in English!

We would recommend the English in Action Week to all the other pupils of our school and we wish that Sonia, Hannah, Clie, James and Richard will come back to our school again next year and go on with the programme.

Dear Native Speakers, thank you so much for this very interesting and exciting week with you! We miss you!
